Joint Anglican youth event
On Friday 9 October we had a fantastic combined Anglican churches youth event called Refresh with about 90 young people and youth leaders from parishes across Hobart!
There was a BBQ to begin and many ways for everyone to hang out—soccer, table tennis, giant Jenga, Wii, and chilling in the beanbags.
At 7:30pm the youth service began and we were so blessed to have a fantastic youth band, made up of young people from different churches, to lead us in praise and worship of our awesome God.
After a great video clip on The Lost Son by the skitguys, James Veltmeyer (youth minister St Mark’s Bellerive) preached from Luke 15:11-32 on the love without conditions which God has for us.
It was a fantastic time for young people to get together to worship God youth-style!
