Teddy bears picnic
The Parish of Lindisfarne held a Teddy Bears Picnic for Baptism families in the parish, at St Aidan's on Saturday 15 August.
The Women's Guild knitted teddy bears which were sent to children who had recently been baptised in the parish. The families with their teddy bears were invited to a Teddy Bears Picnic.
Twenty children and thirty adults attended a great day of fun and fellowship, with action songs, and pass the parcel – they particularly enjoyed blowing bubbles.
The day ended with a picnic on rugs rounding up a great day of fellowship.
