Bishop John's visit

The congregation of Holy Trinity Launceston were happy to welcome the visit of Bishop John on Trinity Sunday 5 June 2009.

Bishop John was a ‘little rusty’ at swinging the thurible and as you can see from the photo he is somewhat clouded in incense as he was unpacking his fold-up travelling crook.

A few jokes were exchanged about ‘smoke and mirrors’, but I can assure you Bishop John and the parishioners had a great time. We hope to see Bishop John more often at Holy Trinity, as he is always welcome to join us.
